I am able to provide a home based legal service to clients in Devon from Barnstaple and South Molton across Exmoor to Tiverton, Exeter and Taunton. Having qualified in 1989 I have spent the last 23 years dealing with all sorts of different clients from those with little experience of using lawyers to those experienced in consulting professionals on a regular basis. Throughout I have tried to demystify the legal process, concentrating on giving the client sound practical advice and support. I believe that the role of the solicitor is to act as a problem solver for his client; often I feel that as lawyers we are seen as part of the problem rather than the solution.
Before qualifying as a solicitor I spent time serving with HM Royal Marines I like to think that this experience allows me to take a more common sense / no nonsense approach to legal problems than many of my professional colleagues.
I have been married to Katrina for 18 + years and we have two daughters of school age. In our spare time I enjoy country sports and run a small holding on the edge of Exmoor, Devon keeping a variety of pigs and rare breed sheep.
